Laura Bernstein (MFA '14), Joan Oh, and Sasha Hughes-Caley (MFA '15) are featured in Columbia University's Online Journal for Curatorial Studies, Interventions

Featured on the site, Bernstein's video will stick with you.
Colombia University's, Interventions is conceptualized as a curatorial platform featuring essays, interviews, web-based art projects, and experimental investigations of the implicit cross-sections between these practices. Flexible in format, the project aims to cultivate dialogue amongst a diverse body of participants including curators, artists, and art and architectural historians in order to establish a common space and archive of exchange.

Please take some time to view their works and read some of the well written articles in the publication, Interventions Journal.

Claire Bidwell & Evan Nabrit (MFA '14) are exibiting in the Physical Lab this Friday, 11/15 from 5:30-7pm

Bidwell & Nabrit's art asks you to politely "pull my finger."

The MFA Exhibition Series continues with the olfactory investigations and collaborations of Evan Nabrit and Claire Bidwell. Both artists mine the dark recesses of our contemporary collective subconscious, combining kitsch, subcultural memes, and traditional high art figuration into something that smells a lot more ominous than we ever would have expected from either their effervescent personalities or their intentionally saccharine subjects.

Opening: Friday, November 15th, 5:30 - 7pm

Stewart's show is stacked.
Displayed at the the Knauer Gallery at West Chester University, Götterdämmerung is a second iteration of an installation that reveals Stewart's continued interest in make-shift structures, that contrast themes of whimsy and urgency. Stewart designed wallpaper and fabric specifically for this project, using edible native plants and construction fencing as source imagery.
