Jessica Vaughn (MFA '11) Presents "Working," an Installation and Performance, to Take Place at Art On Armitage, Chicago

During the month of December, ART ON ARMITAGE will present an installation and performance by Jessica Vaughn (MFA '11), exploring the intersections of class and values.  Working is an installation made of over 500 mop heads cut and framed to create a synthetic backdrop for contracted laborers to clean and monitor from 9am to 5pm on December 3rd.   As the contractors clean the backdrop during the 8 hour performance they will collect cotton and fibers from the cotton mops. The performance will take place in the storefront gallery at 4125 W. Armitage Ave, Chicago.
